2. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies solely to the institutional website rasolodevstudio.com.

3. Data Collected Through the Site
The Site is mostly static and does not include:
- any contact form hosted on the Site;
- any tracking or audience-measurement cookies;
- any analytics tools (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, etc.);
- any user account system;
- any embedded third-party services (advertising, social media widgets, live chat, etc.).
The Site does include a contact button that
opens your email client directly (a mailto: link)
addressed to contact@rasolodevstudio.com. No data is collected,
transmitted, or stored by the Site itself when you use this
button: the Site simply opens your own email software, and you
decide whether to write and send the message.
However, if you choose to send us an email via this button (or directly to this address), Rasolo Dev Studio then receives and processes the following data:
- your email address;
- your name, if you include it in the message or signature;
- the content of your message and any attachments.
Purpose: responding to your request.
Legal basis (Art. 6 GDPR): the legitimate
interest of Rasolo Dev Studio
in responding to inquiries addressed to it, or the performance
of pre-contractual measures if your message concerns a project
to be scoped.
Recipient:
Rasolo Dev Studio only, via
its professional email service (hosted by its email provider,
acting as a technical processor).
Retention period: for as long as needed to
handle your request, then a maximum of 12 months if no further
action is taken, unless a longer legal retention requirement
applies or a contractual relationship is ongoing.
Outside of this exchange that you initiate voluntarily, Rasolo Dev Studio does not collect, store, process, or share any other personal data about you through this Site.
4. Hosting and Technical Logs
The Site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any hosting provider, Cloudflare may process, for technical and security purposes (network operation, protection against attacks, caching), standard technical data automatically generated by your browser during each visit, such as:
- IP address;
- browser type and operating system;
- date and time of the request;
- pages viewed.
This processing is carried out by Cloudflare as an infrastructure provider, independently of any action on our part, and is not used by Rasolo Dev Studio for tracking, profiling, or marketing purposes.
In addition, if Cloudflare's anti-bot security features
(protection against malicious traffic, verification
challenges) are enabled on the Site, Cloudflare may
automatically set, independently of any action on our part,
strictly technical cookies such as
__cf_bm, cf_clearance, or
__cflb. These cookies are used solely to
distinguish a human visitor from a bot and to ensure
technical session continuity; they are not used for
advertising or profiling purposes, and are generally exempt
from consent requirements as "strictly necessary" cookies.
The Site itself does not set any cookies of its own.
For more information, you can consult Cloudflare's privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy and its list of cookies: cloudflare-cookies
5. Links to Third-Party Sites
The Site may contain links to external pages. Rasolo Dev Studio is not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party sites. We encourage you to review their own privacy policies.
6. GDPR Compliance (General Data Protection Regulation)
a. Data Controller
The data controller is
Rasolo Dev Studio, reachable
at the address listed in Section 8. No formal Data Protection
Officer (DPO) has been appointed, as this role is not mandatory
given that the Site does not systematically process personal
data; the privacy contact above handles all data-related
inquiries.
b. Legal Basis and Purpose
The Site itself does not carry out any automatic collection of
personal data (no forms, no cookies of its own, no
audience-measurement tools). The only processing of personal
data occurs when you voluntarily contact us by email via the
"Let's talk" button or directly at
contact@rasolodevstudio.com, as described in Section 2.
This processing is based on the
legitimate interest of
Rasolo Dev Studio in
responding to inquiries received (Art. 6.1.f GDPR), or on the
performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b) when your
request relates to a project to be scoped.
c. Technical Data and Transfers Outside the EU
The only technical data that may be processed is described in
Section 3, automatically generated by the hosting
infrastructure (Cloudflare). Cloudflare operates a global
server network (CDN) and may, as a result, process this
technical data outside the European Union. Such transfers are
governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual
Clauses (SCCs), in accordance with Articles 44 et seq. of the
GDPR. Rasolo Dev Studio does
not have access to these logs and does not use them.
d. Retention Period
Emails you send us are retained for as long as needed to handle
your request, then for a maximum of 12 months if no further
action is taken, unless a longer legal retention requirement
applies or a contractual relationship is ongoing. Any technical
logs generated by Cloudflare are retained according to that
provider's own policy.
7. Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA and Other State Laws)
If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law (e.g., Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah), the following applies in addition to Section 5 above.
a. Categories of Personal Information
Under the CCPA/CPRA, the only category of personal information
Rasolo Dev Studio processes
is identifiers (your email address, and your
name if you include it), and only if you voluntarily email us
as described in Section 2. We do not collect any other
category of personal information defined under Cal. Civ. Code
§ 1798.140, such as biometric information, geolocation data, or
browsing history, through the Site.
b. No Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
Rasolo Dev Studio does not
sell, rent, or "share" (as defined under the CPRA, including
for cross-context behavioral advertising) any personal
information to or with third parties, and has not done so in
the preceding 12 months. Because the Site uses no analytics,
advertising, or tracking tools, no such sale or sharing occurs.
c. No Use of Sensitive Personal Information
The Site does not collect or use sensitive personal information
as defined under the CPRA.
d. Your Rights
Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to:
- know/access the personal information we hold about you and how it is used;
- delete personal information we have collected from you;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (not applicable — we do not sell or share data);
- limit the use of sensitive personal information (not applicable — none is collected);
- non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@rasolodevstudio.com. We will verify your request using the email address from which you contacted us and will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally 45 days, extendable once by an additional 45 days if reasonably necessary). You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification.
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
Although the Site does not systematically collect personal data, you have, in accordance with Articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR, the following rights regarding any data that may concern you:
- Right of access: obtain confirmation as to whether data concerning you is being processed, and access it;
- Right to rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten");
- Right to portability of any data you may have provided;
- Right to object to processing;
- Right to restriction of processing.
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@rasolodevstudio.com. We respond within 30 days maximum, extendable by two further months for complex requests as permitted under GDPR.
9. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as the Site evolves. Any substantial change will be reflected by a new "last updated" date at the top of this document.
10. Complaints
If, after contacting us, you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), with your local data protection supervisory authority if you are located outside France, or, if you are a California resident, with the California Attorney General's office.
